Narratives is a Design Consultancy, focused on graphics, branding, and marketing design - build on the principles of human-centered design thinking.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

As the co-founder and lead designer, I handled client management, business operations, and curation of design concepts. My work encompassed the end-to-end process from requirement analysis to defining the design strategy to delivering solutions, and also facilitating design development from ideation to the final product. 

My initial focus was on the conceptualization by leading the design process, alongside handling negotiations and correspondence with the client. After aligning the customer requirements with design briefs, we brought together a team of designers and relevant stakeholders to explore ideas and brainstorm concepts. Through a series of working sessions, our team sketched low-fidelity ideas for validating concepts. Through periodic iteration and discussions with the clients, the product is finalized for handover.

CREATIVE BRIEFING

The project begins with understanding the requirements of the client for creating a brand image and strategy. This is followed by documenting the findings in the form of a design brief to provide insights to the design team. The brief also outlines the deliverables and scope of the project including the specifics of aesthetics, timing, and the budget.

BRAINSTORMING AND  CONCEPTUALIZATION

Based on the insights gathered, we explore and brainstorm the color schema, motifs, design elements, and materials to complement the vision. At every step, I handled discussions with the client for their inputs and feedback. The relevant data points were further used to create mid-fidelity design deliverables.

PROTOTYPING AND ITERATING

I supervised the graphic design team during the creation of prototypes. The goal was to repeat the process of ideation and prototyping to refine and move the idea forward. Three to four design options for each of the deliverables were prepared for client feedback, and accordingly, we refined the prototype before finalizing for production.

DESIGN PRODUCTION

The final designs with the specifics of color shades, materials, and form were dispatched for production. Customer feedback was a crucial part of the project to inculcate lessons learned and to incorporate the same for upcoming projects.
